An old abandoned general store. I spoke with a gentleman named Fred who was taking care of the lawn. He says a couple recently purchased it and are planning on doing some renovation, but he wasn't sure if it was going to be commercial or residential.

There's this little park with a nice view of the water, and quite bizarrely, this little graveyard next to a navigational aid.

Although it looks like a massive structure, this rusting post is only about four feet high. I got the effect by going REALLY wide and getting about 9" or less away from it with my camera.

An abandoned restaurant

The red soil on Prince Edward Island makes for some very striking color combinations. This dirt road was on the map and had a name. We found a lovely secluded beach area at the end of it.

Looking out to sea - the reddish tint from the soil goes out a few dozen yards

That red sand really does turn the water reddish along the shoreline on Prince Edward Island.

I followed this little dirt road on foot until it got a bit too wet.

This seaside cemetery has got a lot of old gravestones. I liked the intricate metalworking on this one. Personally, I think the rust gives it a bit of character.

This church and its small cemetery were found right along the coast road. It's right on the seashore.
