Another shot of Pico.. but with a nicer background.
This was a beautiful scenic rest stop inside of Banff National Park. I've created a panorama by stictching together four different images.
This is "Pico" he's about three months old. He was adorable.
Slightly different angle here.
Rivers and mountains ... just gorgeous.
The river water has such a beautiful color to it. Not sure what it's from, but it's not just reflection of the sky... We were thinking it was copper, but I've no way to know fior sure.
Another beautiful spot. Some other sightseers stop to take a family photo amongst the beautiful scenery.
This is my first panorama shot. Processed in Photoshop CS 4. It consists of 6 images shot with a 10-24mm Sigma zoom lens.
Possibly one of the prettiest rest stops I've ever been to. This is my first look at the Canadian Rockies.
More farm buildings.
Some small buildings, and the landscape is starting to get some "roll" to it.
A rather small body of water along the side of the highway.
Starting to get a little less flat.
Silos like these occasionally break up the monotony.
More unending flatness.
Flat land and flat, straight roads were the order of the day.
Did I mention it was flat out here?
Very flat land... very flat.
Agriculture is king in the parts of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta we travelled across. Related buildings like this are common.
Saw a few older planes in front of various businesses while on our trip. This one was parked in front of our hotel in Medicine Hat, Alberta
