X-Ray - Business End
An early X-Ray tube on display along with a collection of X-Ray photos of flowers and plants. We're looking at the business end here.
X-Ray Tube - Side-on
An early X-Ray tube.
Pale Yellow Flowers
Some kind of pale yellow flowers.
Flower, I Cu
Some kind of metal sculpture of a flower.
I Cu two
Another of those lovely copper flowers.
What a Pistil
Very low light and tripods not allowed... shallow depth of field? Paper thin.
Ok, they're not apples - apparently, the name tag says Ardisia Crenata... common name s include "Spiceberry"
Looking down from on top of a greek-style statue.
This girl looks a bit sad, dontchyathink?
Tazmanian Tree Fern.
Tazmanian tree fern... seriously.
Purple n Green
Some pretty little purple flowers.
Those leaves have a world of texture to them.
Light purple bits inside of a big purple leaf structure.
Pink n Green
Kind of preppy, eh?
Odd Little Berries
I'm horrible at plant identification, but I liked the way these berries looked.
I wonder if someone will eat it when its ready.
Red n Purple
So very brightly colored.
No idea what this flower is... other than pretty.
I did some simplifying on this so it looked like a watercolor painting.
I was struck with all the strong lines here.
Looks like it's opening wide and sticking out its tongue.
Kind of reminds me of the business-end of a trumpet.
This was a VERY pink plant
Cute little ceramic frog in the fish pond.
This cactus reminded me of Cousin It.
For some reason, I keep picturing this as a mother nursing its young... Somehow, I don't think cacti breast feed.
These cacti reminded me of little sea urchins.
This is a South African plant known as an Elephant's Foot.
I just loved the fuzzy leaves.
Loves the Light
This cactus appears to love this light fixture.
Red flowers, red fire alarm... contented spider.
Slightly overcast day lent itself to a deliberately gloomy photo of the outside of the greenhouse.
These little cacti had some pretty bright flowers. Big ones compared to their size as well.
Temple of Gloom
The light fixture up top kind of made this remind me of a cathedral or something.
Don't Fence Me In
Apparently, these little plants don't much care what side of the fence they're on - each side is equally green.
This fountain wasn't running, but it was still pretty.
Another flower I know nothing about, but it's terribly pretty.
This cactus reminds me of some kind of insane octopus.
Blue n Yellow
This was just a beautiful flower. Again, no idea what it was.
Red n White
This flower had a lot going on.
123... easy as GATC
The walls and light fixtures and windows were all white washed, so this glimpse of biick structure through the window looks quite colorful.
Very deep purple.
